Research Status

(1)Pollutant Control:

As a main principal researcher, we developed an advanced desulphurization technology with high efficiency, low cost and less water consumption.

* A series of reaction mechanism of DeSOx had been found in our research.

* An advanced DeSOx sorbent with micro meter scale had been developed.

* Some parameters had been obtained with bench-scale experimental system.

(2)Multiphase Flow:

Main industry background: CFBB, DeSOx Reactor, Coal-fired Furnace, Square Cyclone.

* Meshless Method had been developed for Direct Numerical Simulation of Multiphase Flow.

* A PIV technique with Fuzzy Logic method had been developed for the measurement of dense gas-particle flow.

* Investigation on the inter-particle collisions: a paper published on International Journal of Multiphase Flow.
