Gas-solid fluidization, circulating fluidized bed coal combustion technology and pollution control

Research Status

He has in charged several research projects involving the coal combustion, biomass utilization and emission control. He has extensive experience in boiler design and operating, energy saving and combustion optimization, emission control on the flue gas from boilers. Also, He has been the project leader of several international projects from EDF (France), Alstom( USA), IHI (Japan) VTT(Finland) and B&W (USA), which cover the fundamental research and industrial application in CFB boiler. Now, He is the project leader of Key Project of the National twelve‐Five Year Research Program of China, “The research and demonstration on the energy saving and low emission CFB boiler”. He has an extensive international network in the field of CFB combustion, fluidization and emission control.

Academic Achievement

He has published more than 100 papers in peer reviewed journals and international conference proceedings.
